Questions That Will Definitely Come in Board Exam

This is one question that no one can answer, and if someone says that he/she can, and you still believe him/her then I am sorry to say you are a fool!

I have seen students placing faith in their beloved teachers, who tells them to prepare only those questions which they have mentioned, and are definitely going to come in exam. Later they curse the teachers for misleading them.

And it’s not teachers who are wrong every time, sometimes students take their advice in the wrong way, or get confused. Usually, teachers point out questions that are important from exam prospects, but students when running out of time, then superstitiously only practice those questions which their teacher told them are important.

If you plan to go beyond 80 and 90, then you can never depend only on Physics important questions, instead, you should try to cover as many topics as you can.

One should practice and study on the regular basis, you can not depend on final one month or 10 days if you want to score well in board exams. To make your preparations rock strong, practice these Physics previous years papers that we are offering.

Unimportant Questions And Topics in Physics

If you are a real genius and believe in consuming knowledge rather than covering syllabus, then you can look forward to giving equal time to each and every topic. But, if you are not one of the kind, then you should focus more on topics that will benefit you more from exam point of view (and I am not talking about the important question that your teachers told you to prepare).

If you think the topic is important, then try to cover each and everything related to it like, the definition, derivations, formulas and finally the numerical if you can.

Physics is endless if you go on reading each and everything and try to remember them (unless you got a gifted genius mind), so it is very important that you choose your study material very carefully.

One way to determine the most important topics is to practice sample papers and previous years papers as much as you can. They will give you a very good idea what the examiners expect from the students and also the numerous other ways of asking a particular question.

Getting 90+ Marks in Physics (DO’s)

Pay attention:-

The first and the most crucial thing is that you pay attention to each and every topic that you study in class or tuition. No matter how much time and money you invest in your tuitions or coaching, if you are not paying attention to them, then they are worthless.

Practice on daily basis:-

If you forget what you studied 3 or 4 days before, and if you need to revise constantly to remember something, then you don’t need to worry. This is a problem that almost every student face, and that is why daily practice and studying is very important.

Make notes:-

Always try to make notes of your own, you will recall words that you created yourself faster than those of others.

NCERT:-

Students often make a mistake of jumping on to other books instead of covering NCERT, most of the questions in the board exams are asked from 12th NCERT book. Therefore, students should first complete it and then go to the other books.

Revision:-

Revision is very important to keep your concepts clear. If you keep on moving forward without revising the previous topics, then, in the end, you will be confused and will need to start over again. Therefore to avoid this, you need to do revision regularly.

Things That You Should Not Do (Dont’s)

Don’t put it on tomorrow:-

Most of us put things on tomorrow, especially when it comes to studying, and if this is a case with you too, then you need to get rid of it. You think that you will start from tomorrow, or you will do it tomorrow, but as they say, “tomorrow never comes until it’s too late”.

Don’t keep your notes untidy and incomplete:-

If you have incomplete and messy notes, then you will feel irritated every time you open them. And this will create the feeling of leaving things on tomorrow in you. You must have noticed that whenever you see the notebook of someone who keeps his/her notes clean and tidy, you feel like having the same notebook. Clean work keeps your mind fresh and satisfied.

Do not depend on just sample papers:-

If you think that just mugging some sample papers will get you through exams, then you are making a huge mistake. You are just putting your future at stake by doing so. Keep digging the other sources too.

No shortcuts:-

You should know that there are no shortcuts to success, and if you are trying to find one, then you are just wasting your time. So, it’s better for you to drop any malicious thoughts (especially the illegal ones) of passing the papers or you may end up destroying your future.

  2. Hello man, this is deepika, I really get confused while studying physics, that what I should start first? optics is running over my head. So could you please help me?

    1. Hello Deepika,
Don’t be confused, first clear your mind. Make a study plan, and keep those chapter on top of your priority list that are easy to cover. Make sure you understand them properly, give your best. Once the easy topics are covered, then go to moderate ones, and so on.

I know, it is easier said than done, but you have to do it if you want to score good marks in board exam. First you will have to make a proper study road map, give it 2 to 3 days if needed. You can ask your teachers or other to suggest easy chapter or units. Once you have the list of chapters, then assign a practical time limit to each chapter.

While deciding the time limit be sure to involve practicing questions and revision of that chapter. Try it, it will definitely help you clear your mind. All the best!

  3. Hi Mam. I get confused in physics topics and now unable to solve out numerical and reasoning question which generally comes in physics cbse board paper so suggest me to how to study it.

    1. Hi Paras.
When it comes to Physics I always recommend students to try to understand the concept behind every topic and not just study them. Once all your basic concepts are clear you will be able to do numerical also. Focus on NCERT books if you aim to score good marks. Keep all the formulas on your tips. Don’t give up if something seems a little hard rather be persistent and practice as much as you can. Keep yourself motivated and study regularly. Divide your syllabus accordingly so you can cover all of the chapters at least one month before the board exam and are left with lot of time to revise and practice from previous year paper and sample paper. Keep on doing the hard work and you will score good marks for sure.

As, you have mentioned that you are facing problem in remembering the derivation in Physics its probably because you are just cramming up everything. You need to understand the concept behind it. In any derivation there are number of steps so first try to learn the basic of it. Next thing is to practice a lot. Yes, only regular practice will help you. Another important factor is formulae. So, keep all formulae on your finger tips. Also never forget to revise. Keep doing the hard work and you will score good marks for sure.

Dedicate more time to your studies, and less to other activities. And don’t forget to practice sample papers and previous years papers.
