      You need at least 32 marks to qualify for clerk, and each questions in the exam is of 4 marks. So, you need to do at least 8 questions correct. Remember that there is negative marking too. Also, since the final merit for clerk is based only on the marks scored in written exam, therefore, if you really want to get selected, then you should aim to score maximum marks.

      As per the eligibility criteria for the post of clerk you must have scored 60% aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject in 12th. And as you have mentioned that you only scored 52% in 12th so you don’t fulfill the criteria hence you are not eligible for this post.

      As, you have mentioned that you have completed your 12th so, you can apply for Indian army at soldier GD post. Other then this if you fulfill the eligibility criteria of post like clerk or technical then you can apply for them too. For clerk post you must have scored 50% marks in each subject and 60% aggregate in 12th class and must have studied maths and English in 10th or 12th and must have scored minimum 50% marks in each of them.
      For technical post you must have score 50% aggregate and 40% marks in each subject(PCM and English) in 12th. So, if you fulfill these criteria then you can apply for any of these post.

      If you want to improve your vocabulary then the only key is a commitment to regularly learning new words. Your first step is to start reading. The more you read like magazines and newspapers, the more words you’ll be exposed to. As you read and uncover new words, use a combination of attempting to derive meaning from the context of the sentence as well as from looking up the definition in a dictionary. Always keep a dictionary and a journal with you so that you can write down all the new words that you are learning. Simply talking with other people can help you learn discover new words. As with reading, once you hear a new word, remember to write it down so that you can study it later and then slowly add the new word to your vocabulary. Each day learn a new word and eventually you will get better.

      First of all I would tell you not to loose hope. Believe in yourself that you can do it. Secondly if you are facing problem in the English Section then practice it more often. Set a time time table and follow it strictly. For improving your English read as much as you can. Practice form previous years papers and sample papers. Along with it also give online test for better results. The more you will practice the better you will get. And most importantly don’t fear that you will make a mistake. Be confident. In the written exam there is 0.5 marks of negative marking. So, keep this in mind also. Keep on doing hard work.

      Hi Yogendra.
      As, you have mentioned that scored 64% in 12th but had only 45% marks in each subject then sorry to say but you are not eligible for the post of soldier clerk. The education qualification required are 50% marks in each subject and 60% aggregate in 12th class.

      10 questions of 40 marks will come from maths sections, and 5 questions worth 20 marks will come from computer science. Each questions will carry 4 marks.

      Now that only few days are left for your written examination you must practice from previous year papers and sample papers. Focus on English grammar as it is an important section. You must have a good command over your grammar and vocabulary for scoring good marks. Work hard and you are surely going to crack this exam also.

      To become an army officer, you have to give the exams like CDS and NDA. Both the exams are conducted by UPSC. The difference between both the examinations is that, you can give NDA just after your 12th and CDS is given after completing your graduation.

      Yes you can apply for soldier Technical in Indian Army, but make sure you have scored 40% marks in every subject in both your 10th and 12th.
