Have you ever wondered, what kind of students are the toppers? just think about it, what makes them so special that they top the class, or school, or district, and some even top the whole country.

So my question is, what makes them do this? Or who gives them the strength to do this? Strange! I think every student, at least once in his/her lifetime, go through all these questions.

Sometimes it is such a headache, having all these questions colliding in our mind. Isn’t it? everyone wants to score good marks in their Board exams, But How? in this article, I am going to answer that “how” question. And then maybe you will get all your answers.

One of the easiest and most reliable ways to score good marks in board exams is to practice the previous year’s papers. If you are from the Arts stream and looking for some help around to do well in your board exams, then you are just in the right place.

#History

History is often considered a hard subject, and there can be multiple reasons for it like, the long answers to the questions and of course the dates that one has to remember, etc.

But the main reason why you find history a tough subject is because you really don’t have an interest in it. It’s boring for you, and that is why you find this subject hard. So, try to take the interest in this subject and things will surely get better.

Read your chapters as if you are reading a nice story, not that you will be able to do it the first time, it may even take the whole year, but you should keep trying.

#Tackling History

Here are some points that may help you in dealing with history.

The Underlines

Underline the important points in your textbook to cover the whole syllabus while revising. As the syllabus is so vast, and even a year is less to cover the three books, so study wisely by picking only the important parts.

Dates On a Chart

It is such a headache to learn all the important dates provided in different chapters. And without memorizing them, it is nearly impossible to score good marks.

There is an easy idea, just make a chart of all the important dates, and stick it to the corners of your study table or beside your bed. Read the whole chart at least once a day till exams, and you will surely memorize the dates. And this will also help you in the future to tackle the competitive exams.

Relate The Characters

There are so many characters in History, and it’s a pain to remember them all. But I have an awesome idea to memorize them.

Relate different charters to people that you know, this way you will easily remember the names whenever you will see that person, or think of him/her. Further, you can do more experiments like you can relate your neighboring man to some king and his house as his kingdom.

So, use your imagination and History will surely become fun for you.

#Political Science

It is one of the favorite subjects for so many, but what about those who don’t want to even study a single chapter of this subject? actually, if you have it in your subject list, then the matter of like and dislike is far behind. You have to study it at any cost. So, just read out the syllabus and start your preparations.

# Tackling Political Science

If you want to score marks in 90’s in this subject, then I would suggest you read the tips given below.

Discussing The Events

Let me tell you one thing that, Political Science is the only subject which is common in past and present, i.e the things are the same.

All you need is to update yourself with time. The best way to stay updated is, to have discussions and debates with your friends on every latest event or incident.

Making Notes & Studying Books

Never forget to make notes of chapters while studying in the class. Well! This is the best way to remember half of the things.

Try to study from more and more books, as the exam will not only contain the stuff from your NCERT book. But make sure you complete your NCERT first. This will help you to score good marks, and you will end up with higher General knowledge.

#Geography

Now Geography is really a boring subject ( most interesting as well if you have an interest in it), and that is why it is hard to score good marks in this subject. But since it is in your subject list, therefore there is no choice, but to study it.

Taking interest in the subject is everything when it comes to scoring marks. The more interesting the subject is for you, the better your chance is to score good marks. So try to build interest in it.

# Tackling Geography

If you are among those average students who have never scored good marks in Geography, but now seriously want some magic to happen, then maybe these tips will help you.

Constant Efforts

Geography requires your continuous efforts, and it is not a one day deal to get good marks in this subject. You have to put in never-ending efforts, at least till the exams are over.

And trust me, this is the only way you can score good marks in geography if you are weak in it.

Important Ones First

Give priority to the chapters which contain more marks. However, you should complete all the chapters. Try to keep your focus on important chapters. Students often make the mistake of giving more time to those chapters that have fewer marks, so try to do the important ones first.

Maps and Diagrams

Don’t forget to practice the diagrams and maps. Geography is all about maps and diagrams, and just writing long answers will not do, you will have to draw maps and diagrams where necessary.

Give special time to practicing maps, and try to draw them neat and tidy.

That’s it for now. Download the pdf of previous year papers of every subject individually, practice all those questions which are most probable to come in the board exam.

I will suggest you not to leave any questions from the previous year’s papers provided here. You will win half of the battle after solving all the questions. Just Study more and you will get your target very soon.
