NDA Officers Salary

Afterward, they can shoot up to the phase of Admiral, Chief Marshal, and Army Staff Chief.
After the completion of the NDA Training, the candidates will undergo 1 year of training period in different academies such as the Air Force Academy (AFA), Indian Military Academy (IMA), and Indian Naval Academy (INA). Here they are provided with a stipend of Rs. 21,000 p.m. for one year and then they will be conferred the post of lieutenant.
For officers in the Indian Army, the starting post is Lieutenant and the salary is Basic salary Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 per month and the grade pay is Rs. 500 p.m. The military fund is Rs. 6,000 per month. With numerous other facilities such as transport, student welfare, medical, etc. the pay is around Rs. 55,000. This is the salary one gets after passing the examination of the National Defense Academy. During the period of training, the stipend is Rs. 21,000 p.m.
NDA Officers’ salary comprises Pay Band, Grade Pay, MSP, and different other allowances and perks, which are structured below. Salaries of Air Force, Army, and Navy Officers are equivalent.
Pays and Perks when inside NDA: In keeping with qualification (12th), one of the top-paying jobs is that of an NDA Officer. During the period of training, candidates get a stipend or salary of Rs. 21,000 per month.
In-hand salaries of NDA Officers after training: Lieutenant in the post to start for NDA Officers and the salary is: Basic salary Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 p.m. grade pay Rs. 500 p. m. and military fund Rs. 6000 p.m. When you include all allowances, the in-hand salary of NDA Officers becomes Rs. 56,100.
NDA Officers Pay Scale after 7th Pay Commission: Rank & Pay Band
Lieutenant – Major: Rs. 15,600 to 39,100 (PB-3)
Lieutenant Colonel – Major General: Rs. 37,400 to 67,000 (PB-4)
Scale of Lieutenant General HAG: Rs. 67,000 (@ 3% annual increment) to79,000
The scale of HAG (Permissible to one-third of the full strength of Lieutenant Generals): Rs. 75,500 (@ 3% annual increment) to 80,000
VCO / Army Cadre / AS / Lieutenant General (NFSG): Rs. 80,000 (Fixed)
COAS: Rs. 90,000 (Fixed)
Candidates who are hired as NDA Officers by way of the NDA exam enjoy numerous benefits and perks together with the salary. After the introduction of the 7th Pay Commission, there has been a reduction in the promotion period and promotion has been extended to Lieutenant rank.
Grade Pay: Lieutenant Rs. 5,400; Captain Rs. 6,100; Major Rs. 6,600; Lieutenant Colonel Rs. 8,000; Colonel Rs. 8,700; Brigadier Rs. 8,900; Major General Rs. 10,000.
Candidates will receive allowances such as Transport Allowances, Uniform Allowances, L.T.A., Qualification Grant after completing the training.
NDA Officers Allowances:
Candidates will get City Compensatory and Dearness Allowances (DA) with the same rates and same conditions as Civilian Officers of Gazetted rank.
Allowances for kit maintenance: Newly proposed Allowance for the dress is Rs. 20,000 per year.
Compensatory Allowance for Field Area: Based on rank and posting area, officers posted in Field Areas are entitled to the following Allowances for Field Area:
For Lt and higher Rank (Level 10 & beyond)
High active Allowance for Field Area: Rs. 16,900
Compensatory Allowance for Field Area: Rs. 10,500
Compensatory Allowance for Modified Field Area: Rs. 6,300
Retirement Benefits: NDA Officers will be permissible for pension, casualty pensionary award, gratuity consistent with the effective rules every so often.

NDA entry scheme is for candidates who have completed 12th. Graduation is not at all required in NDA. If you are going for CDS, then you will need to have graduation.

No rejection is based on the stitch marks. If your leg has completely recovered at the time of medical and it don’t cause any problem to you, then you won’t get rejected. Attending the medical test with rod in leg will definitely cause rejection, so i will advice you to only go after total recovery.
In Nda , After completion of everything , will everyone start with same post and same salary or it will vary according to performance.

Don’t worry, they there just to see if you have what it takes to be an officer. Jut because you were disqualified once does not mean you will be treated differently then others. Though, they may ask some questions related to your disqualification, but it will be fine until your are giving smart and honest answers.

After completing the training, a newly recruited lieutenant get’s at least Rs. 56k in hand salary plus different allowances. One don’t get extra salary for being excellent in sports, though you can get early promotion due to it. Also, if you make it to higher levels (like representing Indian team in sports) then there will definitely be many many perks.

However, it will be better if you take science with math, or at least math in class 11th, because with math you can apply for all three wings i.e army, navy & air force. Secondly, in medical test all candidates are striped naked so that they can check each part of your body (it includes you private parts). But, it is done just to confirm that the candidates are free from any kind of abnormality. So, the size of penis does not matter in medical exam. If they find any disease or abnormality then you are subjected to disqualification.

complete body analysis is done in the medical test of NDA. First of all you will be completely striped naked, each and every part of your body will be examined thoroughly. Different tests like urine test, blood test etc. is done to make sure that you are completely free from disease. You are not given any task in medial test, rather you just have to do as they say and hope that they do not find anything bad about your health. Minor ailments like wax in ear can result in disqualification.

Currently, the only way for girls to join Indian army as officer is CDS. To be eligible for CDS you need to be a graduate. There is no official announcement on NDA for girls. Though recently Indian army has opened doors for girls to join as solider GD, but there is no news about NDA.
