The time after the result is declared is the toughest time for a student who has got compartment/re-exam in any subject. He/she is always under tremendous pressure from everywhere. At this time, students have lots of questions rumbling in their heads, like how to fill compartment form online? when will be the compartment exam date? how will I get re-exam admit card? when will the supplementary result come out?

UP Board Compartment Exam Form On upmsp.edu.in
If it is possible, then you should first try to fill the compartment exam form from your respective school, as this is the easiest way to apply for compartment or improvement for class 12 and class 10th.

If you want to Apply Online, then you will need to read the given steps:-

- You will be directed to the official page of upmsp.nic.in.
- Click on the right link to apply for compartment/improvement form.
- Fill in the details very carefully, and then submit the form.
- Pay the fee via demand draft or e-challan.
- Once the form is submitted successfully, then take a printout of it.
- Now, send the photocopy of the important document along with the demand draft/e-challan to the respective address mentioned in the form.

Here are some of the basic questions that keep bothering the students:-
Question:- In how many subjects can I get compartment?
— If a student fails in 1 or 2 subjects, then he/she is eligible to apply for the compartment exam. If a student fails in more than 2 subjects, then he/she will be considered as fail.
Question:- What is the difficulty level of compartment exam?
— The difficulty level can never be predicted, but since this is your second chance, therefore, you should be prepared for the worst. Though, you will have an upper-hand, as you know the questions that have already been asked in the regular exam. So, you know which questions to prepare now, and also, you have gotten familiar with the pattern of the paper.
Question:- Will they mention compartment in my final mark sheet?
— yes, if you pass the compartment exam, then you will get an updated mark sheet. In the mark sheet, they will mention “compartment pass” in front of the respective subject.
Question:- Is compartment bad for my future? will it affect my career in future?
— Future can never be predicted, there is no guarantee that even if a student score percentage in 90’s, then his/her future is secured.
In the aspect of the career, it’s your percentage that matters. Passed with compartment does not matter.
How To Download Compartment Admit Card @ upmsp.edu.in
The regular candidates can get their admit card from their respective schools. you can also visit the official website www.upmsp.edu.in, and download the admit card for class 12th and class 10th from there.
The link to download admit card will be available from 2nd of August (not confirmed).
Download compartment admit card/hall ticket online according to the below-stated procedure:-
- Click on the button given.
- In the new page, look for the appropriate link to download your admit card.
- Enter the details asked correctly and proceed.
- Once the admit card is displayed on your screen, then you can take a print out of it.

My name is Suraj, currently, I am working in a renowned MNC in Bengaluru. I passed out my intermediate in the year 2009. I don’t know why people make such a fuss about compartment, and students feel ashamed when someone talks about their compartment. I had a compartment in Physics in 12th, and I too felt terrible at that time. But now when I look back, I think that time taught me a very important lesson of life, which is hard work.
I was careless in the last stages of my school life, i.e in class 11th and class 12th. I was a typical average student who never scored more than 66 percent. I lived in the fair of the result since the very day when I gave the Physics paper in my regular exam of the board. It was horrible to know that I have to give compartment, but I decided that I will compensate it by scoring a good percentage. I worked my butt off and got 83 in Physics. Sorry to say but it’s not possible. You are fail in 3 main subjects, so even if you give compartment and pass, you will still remain failed in 1 subject.

Only those students who are fail in 1 or 2 subject can appear for compartment. By less numbers if you mean that you are fail then you can apply for compartment, the fess goes somewhat around Rs. 250 to 300.

Students who are failed in 1 or 2 subject, only they can apply for compartment. Since, you are failed in 5 subjects, therefore you do not have any option other than re-appearing.

Yes UP board do give improvement facility to those students who are not satisfied with their marks. And you are eligible to apply for the improvement if you do not fail in those subjects. You have to be passed in the subjects that you want to give improvement for.

If you are fail in just one subject, then you can apply for compartment in that subject. This way you can appear for just that paper next year in board exam. But for this to happen you must fill the compartment form, and if you have not filled that form then you will have to repeat the class.

One can apply for improvement exam if s/he is applying in the consecutive year after passing the exam. e.g if you have passed 12th in 2017, then you can apply for improvement in the year 2018 only. Also, you should not be pursuing any other degree course during the year 2017 – 2018.

As per the CBSE rule a candidate who has passed Class XII examination of the Board may re¬appear for improvement of performance in one or more subjects in the main examination in the succeeding year only. Since you had completed your 12th in 2015 so now you cannot apply for improvement exam.

Yes, if you are not satisfied with your marks you can apply for improvement exam. Through improvement exam you can again give maths exam and improve your marks. The marks that you will obtain have same value that of your board marks and are also considered in colleges. If you want you can apply for improvement exam in more than one subject. But till now UP board have not released the improvement exam.

The processor of form filling of compartment exam starts in the moth of June. The compartment exam will be held in the month of July-August. Till now UP Board have not released the compartment form. On the other hand improvement exam are held in the next year along with the regular exam.

As, you have mentioned that you have failed in two subjects which are Maths and Physics, according to UP Board rule you only those students who have failed in one or two subjects are eligible for compartment exam. So, you can give compartment exam. Till now UP Board have not released the compartment form.
