New UP Board Exam Date Sheet 2024 For Class 10th & 12th – Updated Timetable

Last year due to the corona pandemic, the UP board could not organize board exams, but this time they are ready and the dates for different exams are set. In the following article, you can find the exam dates for all subjects. The exam timetable for both the classes i.e class 10th and class 12th is given in this article. Students are advised to go through the timetable and note it down for future reference.

UP Board Exam Date Sheet 2024 Class 12

Starting from 24th Mach, the up board exams for class 12th will continue till 12th of April. All intermediate subjects will be covered in a total of 15 working days. Following is the timetable for board exam.

The exams will be conducted in two shifts i.e the morning shift (from 8 am to 11.15 am) and the evening shift (from 2 pm to 5.15 pm). This year almost 24,11,035 students have enrolled for class 12th, in which around 13,24,200 are boys whereas 10,86,835 are girls. Of course, not all students will appear for the exams.

Mostly this year has been all about online classes. Students have completed their courses for different subjects mostly online, and since there is a 30% course deduction this year, therefore, the board exams are expected to be easier than earlier board exams.  Though no matter how easy you make the syllabus or exam, if someone has not studied the whole year, then it will always be hard for them. So, if you have not given enough time to your studies up till now, then it’s time to get serious.

This year the exams for both the classes i.e 10th and 12th are starting on the same date and will also end on the same day. In the following table, high school students can find the complete timetable for the board exam.

The exam date for high school students will end on Tuesday 12th April. This year approx 27,81,654 students applied for class 10th in the UP board. Out of these students, there are around 15,53,198 boys and almost 12,28,456 girls. The exam for UP board class 10th this year is expected to be easy compared to the previous board exams because of the corona.

Mind it, this is just an assumption based on the current situations, there are no guarantees that the exams will be easy. Therefore, students are advised to be prepared for the worst.

UP Board Exam Difficulty Level This Year

It’s obvious to be nervous and scared when you have had no face-to-face interaction with teachers and when all classes were taken online. In this section, we will try to predict the difficulty level of the board exam this year. But, before we move on let’s first take a look at the passing percentage of the last 5 years for both high school and intermediate.

As it is clear by looking at the table, for 12th the stats for previous 3 years have not been as good compared to the 2017 and 2016. Whereas for class 10th, things performance can be said as consistent. In fact, in 2020 the high school students have had the 2nd highest passing rate for the last 5 years.

Though it’s not possible to predict the passing rate of with just these stats, one can guess the approx number with them. As for the difficulty level of the board exam this year, since the authorities know that this year students are not very well prepared and the syllabus is being reduced by 30%, therefore, we can assume that the exams will be easy.

But again, this is just a guess. If you want to score good marks in board exams, then you must be prepared for the hard questions as well.
