Candidates who are applying for Constable GD Bharti 2021 should note that they should register on the official site of SSC. By completing the registration, candidates will get a registration ID and password for login.

After registration candidates will able to fill Online Application Form using their Login credential (registered Email ID and Password).

SSC Constable GD Online Application Form – Apply Online 2024

Before going to apply (Online Registration and Application Form), Candidates should read the official Notice of SSC Constable GD Examination 2024.

For One-Time Registration, Candidates will need the following information. So keep the following documents/ information ready at the time of registration.

  • For verifying OTP(One-Time Password) Mobile Number is required.
  • For verifying OTP(One-Time password) Email Id is required. Email Id is most important because the user ID of the candidate will be his/her Email ID, provided by him/her at the time of registration.
  • For ID(Identity Proof) verification ID Number is required. Aadhaar Number Or Aadhaar Enrollment Number is needed. In case the Aadhaar Number is not available, candidates can provide the following IDs(ID Number).
    • PAN Card Number
    • Voter ID Card
    • Passport
    • Driving License
    • School/College/University ID
    • Employer ID(Private/Government/Public Sector Undertaking(PSU))
  • Educational Information: Matriculation(10TH)/Secondary Board examination Roll Number and Passing year.
  • Photograph & Signature:
    • A passport-sized scanned photograph in Only JPEG format and the size of the scanned photograph must be between 20 KB to 50 KB.
    • Signature(Scanned) in Only JPEG format and the size of the scanned signature must be between 10 KB to 20 KB.
  • The candidate should keep that in mind that a blurred or defective photograph and a signature will be rejected.
    Note that the original ID will be verified later on in the recruitment process
  • Candidates who are not able to provide the Aadhaar Number OR Aadhaar Enrollment Number, need to upload their scanned LEFT-HAND THUMB IMPRESSION(LTI) in only JPEG format. The scanned thumb impression size should be between 10KB to 30 KB.  DON’T upload any blurred or defective thumb impression, in this case, the Application form will be rejected.
  • If any candidate having a disability(40% or more) that is suitable for government jobs, in this case, the candidate should need to upload the scanned disability certificate in JPEG/PDF file format. The scanned disability certificate size should be between 20 KB to 50 KB.

To Apply for One-Time Registration, Go to the official site of SSC i.e., http://ssc.nic.in, Click on “Register Now’. The link will be on the ‘Login’ Section. There is Four Major Detail section(for filling information) in the One-Time Registration. The four sections are as follow:

  1. General & Basic Information
  2. Additional Information
  3. Contact & Address Details
  4. Scanned Photograph, Signature, and LTI(Left Thumb Impression).

Steps for filling up the Online “One-Time Registration Form”:

Candidates should follow the given steps while registering, please read carefully :

Some mandatory information is required such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Aadhaar Number (Any other ID Number). This information will be filled in two times in the given section of the online registration form, for the purpose of verification and to confirm the information to avoid any mistakes.

1. Basic Details/Information:

S No-1: Candidates need to fill up the information related to the Aadhaar Number/Aadhar Enrollment Number or any other Identity Card and its Number.

S No-2: The name should be the same as mentioned in the passing certificate of Matriculation(10TH Class). Those candidates who made changes in their name after matriculation should indicate the same at S No-2c and 2d.

S No-3: The Father’s name should be the same as mentioned in the passing certificate of Matriculation(10TH Class).

S No-4: The Mother’s name should be the same as mentioned in the passing certificate of Matriculation(10TH Class).

S No-5:  Date of Birth, should be the same as given in the matriculation(10TH Class) Certificate.

S No-6: Education Detail(Matriculation Examination Details) including:

  • Name of Education Board
  • Roll Number
  • Passing year

S No-7: Mention Gender(Male Or Female)

S No-8: The Highest Level of Educational Qualification.

S No-9: Candidate’s Mobile Contact Number. Candidates must note that the given mobile number is correct and working since the number will be verified via ‘One Time Password’ (OTP).

Also, you may receive important information from SSC related to the Constable Gd exam 2021 on your mobile number.  And your mobile number will also be used as a password recovery on the official site of SSC.

S No-10: Candidate’s working Email ID. Your Email ID must be working as it will also be verified via OTP(One-Time Password). Note that the Email ID of the candidate is used as the Username for login to the SSC Online website.

The commission may send you the important detail in your Email ID. Also, the Email ID is used as ‘recovery of password’ on the official site of SSC.

After filling up the Basic Information from S No-1 to S No-10, Save the detail, and after that candidates need to confirm the mobile number and Email ID. After confirmation, the Registration ID and Password will be sent to you on your both mobile number and Email ID.

2. Additional Details/Information:

S No-11: Information related to candidate’s category(General/SC/ST/OBC)

S No-12: Information related to Nationality and Citizenship

S No-13: Information about candidate’s Visible Identification Mark. candidates keep that in mind that the visible identification mark will be verified later on in various stages of examination.

S No-14: Information related to physical disabilities(If any). If any candidate is physically disabled (40% or more) which is suitable for any government jobs, then he/she should provide the disability certificate Number and also have to upload the certificate of disability. However, the PwD(Person with Disabilities) candidates are not eligible for the SSC Constable GD examination.

After completing the additional details save the details and process for the next step of Contact/Address details.

3. Contact/Address Details:

From S No: 15 to S No: 18, candidates have to fill up the Present and Permanent Address. After filling in the details, save the details and go for the next and last step of registration.

4. Scanned Photograph and Signature Details:

As mentioned above in S No-2(Please Read S NO-2), Candidates have to upload their recently passport-sized photograph and recent signature( Both should be scanned).

In case if any candidate does not have an Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrolment number, they have to upload the scanned impression of the Left Hand Thumb. In any case that a candidate can’t provide a left-hand thumb impression, then the impression of right-hand thumb or left or right great toe may be used in this case.

By uploading the photograph and signature, save the details. Candidates can download or print out the draft information.

Once you will click ‘FINAL SUBMIT’,   OTP(One-Time Password) will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number as well as on Email ID. And you need to enter both OTPs on the registration form to complete the Registration Process.

Important Notes:

  • Before ‘FINAL SUBMIT’, candidates should review all the information.
  • After submission of only Basic details and the registration process is not completed within 7 days, the candidate’s data will be deleted from the official site of SSC.
  • After completion of the registration process, candidates can make changes in ‘BASIC DETAILS’ only ONCE.
  •  In case of any incorrect/wrong/mis-spelling information, the application form may get canceled. So be cautious while making one-time registration or filling the online application form.

On completion of online registration on the Official Site of SSC, you will receive have the registered Email ID and Password. before filling the online application form for SSC Constable Gd 2024 Please read this information or you can follow the instruction given in the official notice of SSC Constable GD. The candidate should read the instructions give in the Notice very carefully before filling up the Online Application Form. Once you Login to the Official site at http://www.ssc.nic.in using your registered Email ID and password (the password is sent on your mobile number and email at the time of Registration). You can change the password.

Steps for Applying Online Application Form:

On the official site, http://www.ssc.nic.in you will ‘APPLY’ on the uppermost side, click on the ‘Apply’ link, and then click on GD-Constable (http://www.ssc.nic.in>>Apply>>GD-Constable). Or Click on the ‘APPLY’ link in the ‘GD Constable’ section under the ‘Latest Notifications’ tab. Also, candidates can fill-up the form through the website: http://www.ssconline.nic.in.

The information you have filled in the registration form S No-1 to S No-12 will be filled automatically on the Application form and this data/information is non-editable i.e., candidates cannot edit this data on their Online Application form.

S No-13: Candidates can choose their preference on Examination Centers, Give the preference for examination centers. candidates can choose examination centers within the same Region. There are only three choices for centers.

S No-14: For Ex-serviceman candidates, mention the necessary details such as Wards of servicemen/ ex-servicemen are not treated as ex-servicemen.

S No-15: Candidates who are looking for Age relaxation, should select the appropriate/secure age-relaxation category.

S No-16 & 17: Domicile State/ UT(Union Territory) and District of Domicile. Candidate should select the appropriate region as the vacancies for the post of Constable GD in CAPFs and Rifleman in Assam Rifles is Region-wise i.e., domicile based. Therefore a candidate will be considered from the state/UT and District mentioned by him/her.

Note: If there is any incorrect/mismatch or difference between the information (state/UT/District) provided by the candidate in S No-16 & 17  And the information in the certificate provided by the candidate at the time of verification, the candidate will be rejected.

S No-18: In Case if any candidate falls in the SC/ST/OBC category and have migrated from his/her original(born place) State/UT to a state/UT where the candidate’s caste is not recognized as SC/ST/OBC, the candidate has the option either to take the benefit of reservation from the State/UT of his/her origin or to be considered as an un-reserved candidate against the vacancies of the State/UT of candidate’s present domicile. And fill the information in this column according to the decision.

S No- 19 & 20: In this column, details will automatically be filled based on the candidate’s Domicile State/UT and District.

S No-21: In this section, candidates can choose and give the preference of CAPFs/Organization. The candidate should fill all 8 options(it is mandatory).

S No-23: In this section, Candidates have to give the details of the Highest education qualification.

S No-24 & 25: In this section, The photograph, signature, and thumb impression will be filled automatically from the candidate’s registration details.

On completion of filling all the information, candidates should review and verify all the details once, after review click on the “I AGREE” checkbox, and fill up the captcha code given in the box. And Submit the Online Application Form.

 Fee Payment/Challan:

  • Candidates who are not exempted from fee payment must submit the fee through Online mode or through SBI Challan.
  • In case of fee payment through challan, the information of fee payment will get updated within 2-3 days of work.
  • The fee for the Application form for the post of Constable GD is only ₹ 100(One Hundred Rupees only) which is payable through only SBI Challan/SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Master Card, or Maestro Credit/Debit card.
  • The fee is exempted for Women Candidates, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Candidates should take the printout of the application form. candidates should note that they are not required to submit the printout of the Application form or any Hard copy of any other document/ certificate at the application form filling stage to the Staff Selection Commision.
