Studying medicine is such an important thing for many students across the country and every year a huge number of students appear for this particular examination from all over India. But the competition this particular examination is very tough and thus it is essential for the students to study very thoroughly and carefully. There is an ample number of books available that provides an in-depth understanding about NEET but studying all of them might not be helpful at a time.

About NEET: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or more popularly known as NEET is an all India level examination for selecting students to study in the different government and private medical colleges in India.

The examination serves the purpose of such selection on both under-graduate and Post-graduate level for studying medicine and dentistry.

The examination was previously known as the All India Pre-medical Test but after a move by the government in 2013 this exam came to be known as NEET. Although, some private medical colleges opposed this move and went for a stay but most of the institutes have opted for selecting students through this national level examination.

The name of the examination might have changed but the procedure and the selection process still remains to be the same.

The exam in a total marks of 720 out of which 180 marks each is dedicated to both Physics and Chemistry which makes up half. The remaining 360 marks are dedicated to Biology that consists of Zoology and Botany.

NEET conducted by CBSE has the syllabus distinctly mentioned in the official website for the students to have a clear understanding before sitting for the examination.
