I will suggest that instead of writing extra, you try to write accurate and quality answers.

Attract Examiner

For attracting or you can say for the convenience of the examiner, just underline or highlight the important points. It will make your answer look good, and this will surely make a good impression on the examiner, and there are so many chances that he will give you good marks.

Divide It

While giving the exam, divide your time, as the question paper of history is generally lengthy and it requires so much time to cover all the questions. So, you have to manage time from the very beginning. As soon as you get the question paper in your hand, just take five minutes to divide the questions according to the time given.

Read It

After you are done with the completion of the question paper, take at least 10 minutes to check your answer sheet thoroughly. Sometimes, students make silly mistakes that can falsify the whole answer, and especially in the subject like history.
