Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) has replaced the AIEEE and IIT-JEE exams and now there is only one entrance exam for engineering undergraduate programs across India. JEE Main is giving opportunities for students to choose the best course (B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Planning) for them through its entrance exam offered by a total of 23 IITs, 32 NITs, 18 IIITs, and 19 other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).

If you have a dream to study in the country’s top engineering colleges then you need to crack one of the toughest entrance exams called JEE.
JEE is providing a platform for students who want to complete their dream and want to be known by the name of IITians.

Once and if you have cracked the JEE exam then you become eligible further for JEE Advanced which is conducted by IIT’s. IIT’s does not Change the JEE Advanced exam structure yearly, it has a fixed exam pattern.

JEE Main Exam Notification 2022

Joint Entrance Examination, first released its notification on their website but the commencement of application forms started on the 16th of December, 2022. One month duration is provided for students to apply for their entrance and prepare their required documents like an Aadhaar card.

Be careful about the last date of the application form because time is precious and by missing this opportunity you will waste one year, which is really a big deal. The last date for JEE Main Application Form 2021 is the 16th of January, 2022. Don’t postpone your work for tomorrow, just do it today because the deadline will pass but tomorrow will never come.

There is no printed application form for JEE Main 2022, therefore candidates must apply online. While applying online, candidates must have their Aadhaar card with them or the Aadhaar enrollment number, if not then s/he should enroll him/her for the Aadhaar card before the closing date.

The last date for fee payment is the 17th of January, 2022. Candidates must submit the fees according to papers and their mode of the exam before the last date. Somehow if you are not able to submit the fee on time then your application form will automatically get rejected, and you won’t be able to give the exam in the 2021 session.

We are human beings and mistakes are part of our nature. If you enter any wrong information while filling the application form, then don’t bother about it. JEE provides one chance to correct mistakes in your form by giving a whole day for correction. The correction procedure will start after one week of the closing date. Candidates should check the official website, newspaper, or 4ono.com regularly so that they don’t miss the chance.

JEE Exam Dates 2022

There is a total of 258 exam centers which are distributed as 248 centers across 28 states and 8 union territories in India and 10 centers in the Foreign country.

For JEE Mains offline mode, candidates can choose 4 different exam centers as per their convenience, but for the online exam, mode candidates can choose only one center, therefore, one needs to be very careful while choosing the center for online mode.

  • After completing the application and correction process, candidates get their admit card. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website (jeemain.nic.in).
  • Exam of Paper-I, Paper-II, Paper-III is on (Session-1)23-26 Feb, (Session-2)15-18 Feb, (Session-3)27-30 Feb, (Session-4)24-28Feb. It is recommended that candidates should visit their exam center one day prior to the exam and so that they do not have to waste time searching for the exam center on the day exam.
  • The answer key will be displayed on the website in February 2021.
    Note: Those who are not satisfied with the official answer key provided by the board, can challenge it by paying Rs 1000 per question. To challenge, one must apply online through the official website. If your challenge is accepted by Board then the fees will be refunded.
  • The result will be declared on the 1st week of March 2022 and it includes the marks and status for appearing in JEE Advance 2021. Candidates who will hold rank among the top 2.20 lakh ranks i.e within 2 lakhs 20 thousand, will be eligible for the Advance exam.
  • The date of the JEE Advance examination is June 2022. This exam will be fully computer-based.

JEE Main 2022 – Exam Schedule

JEE Main examination is further divided into three papers i.e. Paper I, Paper-II & Paper-II(B)/Paper-III. Paper I is for B.E./B.Tech, Paper-II is for B.Arch, & Paper-III is for B.Plan and it will be conducted Offline or Online (computer-based examination)

Paper-II is for B.Arch and it will be conducted offline or online according to the guidelines of JEE.

Paper-III is for B.Planning it will be conducted offline or online according to the guidelines of JEE.

Candidates have choices to give either Paper-I, Paper-II, or Paper-III, or they can give both the paper as per their course convenience. The course for both the paper is a little different. In the Paper-I, the subjects include physics, chemistry & mathematics with objective type questions in both the mode (online & offline). In Paper-II, the subjects include mathematics, an aptitude with objective type questions, and a drawing test with questions to test your drawing ability. In Paper-III, the subjects include General Awareness regarding development issues, government programs/schemes, etc, Comprehension, critical thinking and analytical skills, graphs, charts, and map reading skills, simple statistics, CBSE class X Social Sciences topics.

Candidates can give exams in both the mediums i.e. English and Hindi in all exam centers, but for candidates who are from the following states or have filled centers in Gujarat, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli then the medium of exam will be English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

Candidates will get examination dates on a first-come, first-served basis. Candidates can select their slots while filling application forms and, if not, then exam slots will be allotted randomly. The schedule of exams for both the mode are mention below:

Note:
If a candidate appears in more than one slot of both the exams or in one exam, then the candidate’s result will not be declared or disqualified from the whole procedure.
