Indian Railway Recruitment Groups & Group wise Post

Indian Railway Recruitment Groups & Group wise PostRailway Recruitment Board (RRB)/ Railway Recruitment Cell(RRC) release the jobs on the basis of a group and there are two gazetted groups ( Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’) and two Non-Gazetted groups( Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’) total divided into 4 groups and there are total 21 recruitment boards. Since the Indian Railway is Central Government hence job category is Central Government and its official website is www.indianrailways.gov.in.

Group ‘A’ Category Posts: 

Group ‘A’ comes under the gazetted officer post. In this group, recruitment is done by UPSC(Union Public Service Commision) Using two exams (Civil Services Examination and Combined Engineering Services Examination).

      With graduation degree you can apply for many posts, but if your aim is to become an officer, then you should apply for OTA. You you successfully pass this exam and all the tests then you will be recruited directly as an officer. If you wish then you can also apply for female GD post.

      The IRTS (Traffic Service) may be more suitable for an MBA.
      You can look at the large private IT companies which might need some people with technical support.
      The Class I officers are recruited through the Civil Services exam and the Engineering services exam.
      If you do not qualify for Group A (or Class 1), there are the Group C jobs for which any graduate can apply.

      You are eligible to apply for RRB TC post, but if you want to applyf for RRB station master post, then you will have to produce the graduation degree at the time of joining. So, if you thing till the time of recruitment you will have your degree, then you can apply for station master post as well.
