JEE Main Answer Key 2022

The answer key is like a prediction gadget for your JEE Main paper. After finishing your exams, CBSE issues official answer keys and images of response sheets i.e. OMR sheets on the official website of JEE Main.

JEE Main answer keys will be announced soon. Candidates can access their respective answer keys for both Paper I and Paper II during this period. An answer key is basically a sheet that is used as a key that contains the correct answers to each question.

If you are thinking that when the result of the exam will be announced after a few weeks, then what is the use of Answer keys? The answer is very simple. You can calculate your result while comparing answers with the answer key and if you think that you are scoring well in your JEE Main exam, immediately you start your preparation for the next level or JEE Advance. And, it also gives you speculation for your result.

Paper I & Paper II Answer Key

JEE Main Paper I and Paper II exams is going to be held on Session 1(23-26 Feb), Session 2(15-18 March), Session 3(27-30 April), Session 4(25-28 May) according to your selection of exam mode (Online/Offline). After one week of the exam, answer keys will be announced on the official website. Answer keys are different for Paper I and Paper II according to their booklet number.

Candidates are advised to match their answers with the official answer key and speculate their results so that they can get a rough idea of their scores in the exam. Paper I candidates who are confident about scoring good marks in JEE Main exam, can apply for the JEE Advanced examination. And candidates of Paper II, after checking their marks they must check the cut off list of respective institutions offering B.Arch/B.Planning to ensure their admission.

Note: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is only an examination conducting body and after declaring the result, it does not get involved in the seat allocation process and admission procedure. It does not keep the information about the number of seats and reservation criteria in IIT Colleges.

How to Challenge Answer Key?

The Board is accepting challenges from those who are not satisfied with the answers provided in the answer keys. Candidates must fill the application form to challenge, available on the website. Candidates must pay a fee for challenging the answers, by paying Rs 1000/- per question and must be backed with substantial proof.

Candidates can pay their fee by credit or debit card. The fee is non-refundable once paid but if your challenge is accepted by the board, your amount will be refunded to your account, directly. So, candidates are advised to use their own account or their parents’ account.

Note: Decision by JAB/CBSE will be final against the challenge and no communication will be entertained further.

Now, the point is How to apply for Answer key Challenge? Take a look at the step by step procedure for applying:

Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Main

Step 2: Log in with your application number and date of birth.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Challenge‘ button.

Step 4: Select the question booklet number, fill in all the details, and make payment as per the question(s) i.e. Rs 1000/- per question using credit/debit card.

Step 5: And in the last, Submit your application.

How to Download Answer Key

After finishing with JEE Mains 2021 examination (Paper I & II), candidates are eagerly waiting for the answer key. It is a big question among candidates that “How to download Answer key and from where ?”.

Don’t panic, we are providing the full detail on downloading the answer key. Just follow the steps described below:

  • Candidates have to enter their application number, date of birth, and security pin and in the end, press the ‘submit’ button.
  • Go to the answer key section.
  • Place your mouse cursor or click on the drop-down series and select the exam booklet set number.
  • Select the view button and then download your JEE Main answer key.

Note: Candidates must fill in the correct question booklet number while downloading the answer key. Incorrect booklet numbers will create confusion then you will not get able to calculate your right score.

Paper Analysis

As per the latest notification, CBSE has changed criteria that, there will be no weightage of 12th class marks while calculating ranks of JEE Main and candidates should secure 75% marks for the general category or be in the top 20 percentile, and 65% marks for SC/ST category to get eligible for JEE Advance.

Last year, approximately 12 lakhs candidates appeared for Joint Entrance Examination and according to the criteria of the qualifying exam, the remaining candidates were eliminated. And, those who got eliminated from the 2021 JEE Main exam must be appearing this time if they have any attempts left also the students who are currently appearing or completed 12th class last year also applying for JEE Main exam then you can imagine how much strength of candidates is going to appear in this exam.

  1. How can i download the jee 2nd paper answer key for set T . I searched but I didn’t got it.

    1. The official answer key for JEE Paper 2 has not yet been announced by JEE.
