SSC CPO exam is a Central Police Organisation test which is conducted by SSC every year for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) post in Delhi Police, CAPF, and CISF. This is one of the exams which is conducted in large mass as aspirants take part in this exam from all over India. But qualifying for the SSC CPO exam is definitely not easy work as there are three stages that aspirants have to go through in order to finally get appointed to their preferred post.

Staff Selection Commission has already released the official notification of CPO exam 2021 and this year there are around 2221 vacancies for both Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector. Aspirants must have registered themselves for the exam as only then will they be able to download their respective admit cards.

SSC CPO Admit Card 2022

Now that you must have completed the online application process successfully, then you must be looking to download the SSC CPO admit card. Admit cards are mostly available one or two weeks before the commencement of the exam. SSC releases the notification regarding the admit card/SSC CPO hall ticket on the official website.
In this article we are going to provide you every single detail regarding the SSC CPO admit card like, from where you can download the hall ticket, what steps you need to follow to download it and importance of admit card.

How To Download SSC CPO Admit Card

Firstly aspirants must know that admit cards will be available in online mode only in the official website of SSC. And the second thing to keep in mind is that aspirant must possess their registration ID in order to download the admit card.

All the aspirants who have applied for the SSC CPO exam and are in need to collect Delhi Police, CAPF and CISF admit card/hall ticket, can easily download the admit card by following the basic steps which are mentioned below.

  1. Visit the official website of SSC which is “ssc.nic.in”
  2. On the home page, there is the admit card tab on the header of the website. A list of regional websites will be opened after clicking on it.
  3. Click on your respected region.
  4. A new page will open with a form where you will have to fill in your registration number/date of birth.
  5. Enter your registration number/DOB carefully.
  6. Next, you will see your SSC CPO admit card.
  7. Download it and take a print out.

It is necessary that aspirants possess the admit card on the day of the examination, only then he will be unable to write his/her exam. Remember to cross-examine the details of the admit card.

NOTE: In addition to SSC CPO admit card candidates also must bring one copy of their latest colored photo, and at least one photo identity proof in original with clear photograph (Passport,  AADHAR Card,  Driving License, University /College ID, Voter ID Card and PAN Card)

SSC CPO Admit Card – In Three tiers

As, we all know that SSC CPO exam is conducted in 3 stages which include Paper I, Physical Endurance Test(PET), and Paper-II as first, second and third stages respectively. The staff selection commission releases separate admit cards for all three stages and candidates can download it from the official website.

What is important for every candidate to know is that their admit card for Paper I will not be considered valid for PET or Paper-II. Hence, after the result of Paper I, qualified candidates will have to download a new admit for PET, and similarly for Paper-II.

Another thing to keep in mind is that admit cards are released region-wise, which means that every region releases the admit card on different dates. Below is the list of every region.

SSC CPO Hall Ticket For Paper 1, 2 And PET

# SSC CPO Amit Card For Paper I/Tier 1

The first phase of the SSC CPO exam is Paper I and it is necessary that candidates qualify for this phase as only then they will be selected for PET. A week or two before the commencement of the exam SSC releases the Paper I admit card which is mandatory for every candidate to bring in the examination hall.

# SSC CPO PET Admit Card/Tier 2

The second phase of the CPO exam includes the Physical Endurance Test but only the qualified candidates who have scored more than or equal to cut-off marks of Paper I are eligible to give. Again SSC releases the admit for PET in which the time, date, and venue of the exam is mentioned. Candidates have to take their admit card with them in order to give PET.

# SSC CPO Paper II Admit Card/Tier 3

The selected candidates who have qualified for Paper I and PET have to appear for Paper-II which is the final phase of this exam. Similar to Paper I candidates have to download their admit card for Paper-II also.

NOTE: Candidates should notice that even though SSC releases the different admit cards for Paper II, PET, and Paper-II but it is an important document. Hence, the candidates are advised to keep all the admit cards save with them till the final recruitment is over.

Importance Of SSC CPO Admit Card

Have you heard of any examination where you would be able to enter without any admit card? no, of course. Admit cards for any of the written examinations becomes very important as it acts as the individual identity of the candidates opting for the examination.

The admit cards carry the name, registration number, photograph, and signature of the candidates, which allows the examination co-coordinator to recognize them and allow them to sit for the examination. If you are thinking that what can happen if you forget your admit card, then simply putting,  you will not be allowed to attend the examination because it is used for verification purposes. If the invigilators find something suspicious then they will also ask for any government-issued id proof like Aadhar card and others.

Now, what should you do first after downloading your admit card is to check every detail printed on it because there are chances of some misprint or spelling mistake. And if you are in no mood of getting yourself into that situation where you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall, then you better take care of it.

What to do in case of some misprint? no need to panic as it can be corrected. All you need to do is inform the SSC authorities of your region through the mail with the right details and incorrect details that have printed in your admit card and the corrections will be made.

What to do if a candidate is unable to download the admit card?

s/he must immediately contact the concerned regional/sub-regional office(s) of the commission with details such as registration id, transaction id of SBI, copy of challan, etc. to obtain the admission certificates. Failing to do so will deprive him/her of any claim for consideration.

What information does the SSC CPO Admit card contain?

The SSC CPO admit card will consist of your name, roll number, photograph, venue of the examination, and signature.

Is a colored printout of the SSC CPO Admit card required?

No. A normal black and white hall ticket would be sufficient.
