Paper pattern and format of Indian army
Now, if you are unaware of the paper pattern and format of the written exam, then below are the details of the paper pattern for the different department like GD, technical etc.
For soldier GD:-
There will be multiple choice questions i.e you will have to select one of the four options given. The question paper will be of total 100 marks and out of which candidates are required to get at least 32 marks to be considered as pass. 1 hour will be given to the candidates to complete the paper.
The paper will carry questions related to GK (general knowledge), general science and maths. 30% of the questions will be based on GK, 30% on maths and the remaining 40% on general science. The best thing is that the question paper will not be that hard, as the questions will be class 10th based.
Not to mention, if you have an NCC (national cadet corps) ‘C’ certificate then you do not need to give the written exam of soldier GD, that means that you will only have to clear the physical part of the recruitment.
Be well aware as there will be negative marking in the written exam, so answer the questions carefully.
For Soldier tradesman:-
The exam pattern for the soldier tradesman will be almost same as of soldier GD i.e the paper will be of 100 marks, 32 marks are passing marks, 1 hr will be given to complete the paper, and the paper will be divided among GK, Maths, and general science.
The only difference is that the questions asked in tradesman exam will be comparatively easy than soldier GD as the questions asked in this exam will be class 8th and class 10th based. Negative marking rule will be applied on this exam too.
For Soldier technical:-
The written exam for the soldier technical will be quite different from the above two. The question paper will be of total 200 marks out which candidates will be required to get at least 80 marks to get passed.
The question will be asked from the GK, Maths, Physics and chemistry based on class 12th. So we can say that this is the toughest of all the army soldier exams.
For soldier nursing assistant:-
The exam pattern for this exam will be same as soldier technical, but the questions asked in this exam will be based on GK, Maths, Chemistry, and Biology. But the good thing is that the maths questions will be 10th based and the remaining will be 12th based.
Again the paper will be of 200 marks, and candidates will be required to get minimum 80 marks to pass.
For soldier clerk:-
The exam of soldier clerk will be divided into the following two parts:
Objective type question: in this part the questions will be asked from general science, maths and CS (computer science). The general science section will hold 40 marks whereas the maths and CS section will carry 60 marks.
Subjective type questions: this paper will test the skills of candidates in English language and will carry total 100 marks.
So this is how the exam pattern or paper format will be for the army soldier GD written exam.
