The questions asked in this section are based on the passage given, so if you really read the passage well, then you can answer the questions easily.

It is impossible to know which passage will come in the exam, so if you were trying to cram them from reference books, then stop it, it is a total waste of time.

The best way to prepare for unseen passage is to read. Read newspapers, books, etc. Make sure you focus on just reading and no other thoughts should cross your mind. On the day of the exam, if possible then read the passage within the 15 minutes that you will get to read the question paper. But, be sure to read the question paper as well.

Tidy writing plays a vital role in English, especially for the grammar section. So, try to write things neatly and you may earn a few extra marks for it.

While attending the questions of the grammar section, try to present the answers in an attractive way. Most of the questions carry 5 to 10 marks, so you may have to fill pages to make your answer look worth (do not exceed the word limit).

For the Literature Section

As you know that in this section questions are asked from the coursebook of English, which means that how much you score in this section will depend on how well you have studied the book. So, do read all the chapters in your books at least once.

While studying the book, you can write the important instances in a separate notebook of a particular chapter.
