How to Prepare UP Police SI Syllabus in a Short Time
If you are running out of time and want to prepare for the syllabus in less time then make sure to stick to the following points to increase your chances of cracking this exam.
- Consistency: be sure to make a fixed time timetable for your study. Sitting for 10 hours one day and then slacking off for the rest of the week is just not going to do it. Make sure to be consistent and try to do it at the same time daily.
- Less is more: As mentioned in the earlier point, giving 10 hours a day and then not doing anything for the rest of the days is a bad approach. Your mind will automatically flip if it assumes that it has to work so hard every day. So, select the number of hours that you can sit every day. it can be as low as 1 hour, but it should be done regularly.
- Previous year papers: Nothing can prepare you for the Daroga exam as practicing last year’s paper will do. So, make sure to practice a lot of them. Not only they will give you an idea of how the paper might come, but they will also prepare you to complete the paper on time as timing is one of the key factors in competitive exams.
- Stay updated: GK and current affairs are subjects that have endless topics in them, and one just can predict what may come, so the best approach to prepare for these subjects is to read the newspaper daily as most questions are asked from recent news.
- Don’t give up: Never giving up is the only thing that separates winners from losers, no matter how many times you fail, if you have a burning will and an attitude to never give up, no one can stop you from completing the UP police SI syllabus and ultimately becoming a Daroga in the UP police department.
These are some very basic yet powerful points, if you can stick to them then you will have a great chance of cracking the UP SI exam this year. All the best!
