Before we go on, please bare in mind that the below given is not a comprehensive list of topics as something out of these topics may appear in the exam, therefore, readers are advised to be prepared for everything.

UP Constable Syllabus – General Knowledge

GK is a very ambiguous topic as it can cover a whole range of topics like current affairs, history, geography, etc. But, thankfully we know that we just have to cover only the most basic information from all these topics. If GK is too hard for you then your only friend in the exam is general Hindi or GH. Since we grow up listening to Hindi from childhood, therefore, most applicants find it the most comforting subject and the easiest one too. But, just because you can understand or speak Hindi does not mean that you understand all its technicalities.

Ask someone who is not familiar with Hindi, he/she will tell you how hard this subject actually is. My point here is, don’t take this subject for granted as it can cost you a lot of marks. The following are the main topics that you should prepare to score good marks in this subject.

  • रस
  • छन्द
  • अलंकार
  • अपठित बोध

Keep in mind that every mark matters when you are entering a tough competition like the UP police job. So, do prepare for Hindi the best way you can.

Numerical Aptitude or general math is one of the hardest subjects in this exam, and if you are not well prepared, you may even end up losing marks for wrong answers. In an MCQ-type paper, it does not matter what method you have followed, the only thing that matters is the final answer that you choose. If the final answer is not correct, then it will just be waste of time.

Getting the right answer every time is a skill that you will develop only and only after a lot of practice, and maths is all about practice, so make sure to put the right amount of practice into this subject.
