CBSE 11th Science Blueprint

As we are well familiar with the fact that we are living in the age of science and technology and we can too feel its revolutionary effect on our life. Today the influence of science and technology has been expanded to a rich set of achievements and goals. That’s why the science stream has become a fab among the students nowadays.

The Science stream is the scientific and analytical study to know the fact responsible for the occurrence or existence of an event. Let’s have a glance at the subject, study content, and exam pattern of the science stream.

So, basically, there are four important subjects in the science stream which comprises physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. These are combinedly known as PCMB.

Physics includes the study of the theoretical, derivational, and numerical sections. Chemistry is the study of the chemical behavior of the materials around us. It consists of the theoretical, numerical, derivational sections and lab activities also.

while biology and mathematics are slightly different subjects or we can say these two subjects as one-directional subjects because Biology is a complete theory-based subject so it requires a deeply focused reading skill to command over it while Mathematics is a completely numerical and problem-solving subject.

So this was all about the subject and study content of the science stream now let’s discuss its Exam pattern. Except for mathematics, the Exam pattern of each subject is divided into two categories i.e. Theory Exam and Practical Exam.

The theory section of each subject covers the syllabus of 70 marks and the Practical section covers the 30 marks. while mathematics is the only subject that consists of one written Exam with a total of 100 marks. Now, let’s have a look at the blueprint of the mark scheme of each Science Subject.

CBSE 11th Commerce Blueprint

There are 3 major subjects in the commerce stream which include Accounts, Business Studies, and Economics. Most of the commerce students find Accounts a little bit harder subjects because along with the theory it consists of some mathematical calculations also which make the accounts exam time and mind consuming.

So you need to get well prepared and should do strong practice before facing the Account exam. The accountancy Exam comprises a theory Exam of 90 marks with a total time period of 90 min. and a project work of 10 marks.
