Army NA syllabus

Soldier Nursing Assistant Syllabus

Every time when an aspirant starts the preparation for some written exam, the foremost question which arises in his mind is the syllabus of that exam. The sections from which the type of questions are most likely to appear in the exam. The syllabus of Soldier Nursing Assistant has been given below which is covering all the most probable topics of the exam.

It can be possible that some of the questions may appear from out of the above-given topics, but they will surely come from the CBSE syllabus. So, regularly consult NCERT books for sure.

The Nursing assistant exam is considered one of the most difficult exams of the Indian army and as you have already seen the vastness of the syllabus, you must be searching for some tips to deal with the subjects, if so then you must continue reading.

How to study – BIOLOGY

As Biology covers 60% of the written exam, you really need to study each and every concept of the subject in detail. You are applying for the post of a nursing assistant and with that, there is one thing clear that Biology will accompany you throughout your career. So, let’s make it strong from the very beginning.

Biology is all about theory so whenever you sit on this subject, keep a small diary beside you. Keep noting the important points and definitions, it will help you at the time of revision.

Try to study concepts through flow charts and diagrams, they are no less than a boon in studying Biology. The subject is full of the theoretical part, and sometimes, it requires multiple readings to understand a single topic. So, these drawings will save you time.

Sometimes, Biology gets monotonous, so give it a break by studying some other subject in between.

How to study – CHEMISTRY

Chemistry is again one important subject for the written exam of a nursing assistant. As the subject covers the 60% marks likewise Biology, it too requires to be studied in elaboration. I always suggest you study Chemistry in the morning time when you are most alert and fresh.

As per the preparation of the Nursing assistant’s written exam, this is very necessary that you start managing your time. And when you will be doing it, including 2 hours of studying Chemistry in the morning. Make a list of important derivations and equations on a chart paper and hang it beside your bed. Whenever, you start studying, first revise those equations from the chart paper. Do it regularly.

Make use of Mnemonics. something that you used to apply in your school time. As per my experience, there is no better memory aid than Mnemonics. Let’s take an example for a better understanding. Like, if you want to learn the atomic number of the first 20 elements in the periodic table. Then, there are mnemonics.
H He Li Be B C N O F Ne Na Mg Al Si P S Cl Ar K Ca
Hi, He Lied Because Boron Could Not Oxidize Fluorine. New Nations Might Also Sign Peace Security Clause. Arthur King Can.

How to study – MATHS

Suggesting something regarding the tips to study Maths, the first term which comes into mind is Practice. I can put forward so many ways to study Mathematics for the nursing assistant exam but I cannot suggest even a single alternative to practice.

The written exam of Nursing Assistant comprises of 20% Maths section. Students preparing for the Nursing assistant exam need to learn some shortcut tricks as there will be a total of 60 minutes to write the whole exam.

Once you will be done with checking out the syllabus of Maths, try to organize all the important formulas in one place, so that when you solve questions, you don’t have to turn pages for looking out the formulas.

Speed and accuracy are two important factors to determine the success of an individual in Maths subject. And when we are taking competitive exams into account, then these two factors are mandatory. So, while practicing, try to focus on improving these key factors.

How to study – Physics

When you start your preparation for physics the first thing to do is improve your knowledge related to the concepts. Instead of cramming try to understand the theory part and move to the numerical section. You will have to memories a lot of formulas as they are the backbone of Physics and then learn where and how to implement them.

First, start with easy questions and then slowly work your way up to difficult questions. Even though there are only 5 questions of Physics in the exam but they carry 20 marks so you cannot completely ignore it.

When it comes to Physics, it requires conceptual understanding and logical solving skills. You must practice-wide variety of numerical based on different concepts to attain a firm grip on various topics.

While studying always take short notes of important formulae, theorems, and concepts as these notes will boost up your revision while preparation. And regular revision will remove very much of your burden during exam time.

How to study – GENERAL KNOWLEDGE

Generally, I have seen students doing well in other subjects but their performance experiences a tragic downfall in General Knowledge. This is just because of the lack of guidance. As you can see, the General Knowledge section of the Nursing Assistant exam comprises 40% marks. Thus, one really needs to study each topic very carefully. You must maintain a small diary to note down the general knowledge questions you learn daily, either from the book or from any other source.

Apart from it, make a separate notebook for current affairs and keep noting every day, keep updating yourself daily. There are online quizzes updated daily for the students preparing for competitive exams. Attempt them, they will help you for sure.

Start following these tips subject-wise and you will surely feel the difference. Now, here are some common tips too which are equally important in every topic.

  • Preparations all done?  I think not yet. If you have not gone through the previous year’s papers Nursing assistant exam then you are not honest with your preparations. Just go for them, either download the pdf or buy a good book but before appearing in the exam, study them all.
  • Time Management. The bad news is time flies, the good news is you are the pilot. I hope, you understand what I mean. Try to save more and more time and utilize it in your preparation. It can only be possible when you set your priorities and leave everything else. Keep one thing in mind they all are distractions, keep them away.

Soldier Nursing Assistant Books

Nowadays, there are so many websites that claim to provide the best study material for the Nursing Assistant exam. It might be possible that there are few among them which really equip the same but still, I do believe in books. The hard copies will save you time and make it all comfortable as well.
