CPF has announced 129929 vacancies for the gd constable and retired Agniveer can also apply for this post. In the age limit, they will get 3 years of age relaxation. For males their is 125262 posts and for females 4467. 10% of seats are reserved for Army Agniveers. Last date for applying is 25 April 2023.

CRPF 2023 Bharti Zone Wise

CRPF is divided into four important zones for the aim of better functioning and to execute effective operations across the country. Each zone consist of group of states and cities where the particular zone is active and provides its service. CRPF will conduct zone-wise recruitment for the year and candidates are required to apply for the CRPF post zone-wise. The description of CRPF zones is mentioned below.

Central Zones

CRPF Central zone was established on 7th August 2009. It is an important zone which covers about the 42% of the geographical extent of the homeland from east Bay of Bengal up to the west Madhya Pradesh and covering the north with international border of Nepal in up to the south Odisha. comprising of 8 sectors, 18 group centers, 88 Battalions, 8 composite Hospitals, 2 CWS, 1 AWS, 2 CTCs, 3 RTCs, 1 CIAT. The zone is mainly deployed in Naxal prone areas of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Bihar.

10 units of central zone is deployed in the security of sensitive shrine of the country which includes Krishna Janam Bhoomi-Shahi Idgah Masjid Complex at Mathura, Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid Complex at Ayodhya, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple-Gyanvapi Mosque at Varanasi.

Jammu & Kashmir  Zone

J & K zone came into existence on 22 October 2009 and is one of the largest zone of CRPF including of 6 Sectors deployed over seven seven states of the country which are J & K, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Delhi & Rajasthan. The zone is committed to maintaining peace, Law, and Order over these areas. Most important the zone is strictly active against terrorism activities in J & K. The zone also looks over the security matter of VIP security, PMO security, Parliamentary security, static guards, providing protection to the pilgrims of Mata Vaishnav Devi Shrine and Amarnath Yatra. The zone also plays important role in executing peaceful elections across the country.

North East Zone

The CRPF North-East zone was established on 01 February 1976. At present, its head Quarter is situated at Shillong and Meghalaya. The zone is active in all the seven states of north-east i.e. Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura and Mizoram. The sector has 03 administrative ranges:

  1. Guwahati Ranges and 15 Bns.
  2. Khatkhati Range
  3. Silchar Range

Southern Zone

CRPF southern zone consists of 03 sectors, Kerala & Karnataka and western Sector. The area under the southern sector  (Kerala and Karnataka) includes Tamilnadu, Telangana, Andhara Pradesh and Pondicherry whereas the western sector comprises Kerala and Karnataka in KK Sector and Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Diu, Daman & Nagar Haveli (U.T).
