      Hi Ankush, for Indian Army clerk exam you should prepare strictly according to the syllabus. There are three Major section/subjects which are: General Knowledge & General Science, Mathematics & Computer Science, and English. Also, you need to practice from Army clerk sample paper so that you will have an idea of types of questions.

    1. Hi Praduman.
      For clerk post you only have to qualify the physical fitness test so in the final merit list only you marks that you score in the written exam are considered. Hence if you want to join Indian army at clerk post you have to focus on written exam. It is of 200 marks total and you must score 80 or more to get pass.

      First of all congratulations on clearing the physical and the medical round. Now your next challenge is written exam for which you have work really hard. Make sure you are fully aware with the whole syllabus and the exam pattern. The start your preparation by making a time table and following it very strictly. Daily practice is must. If you find yourself weak in English then give little extra time for it. Study from good books and never forget to practice from previous years papers and sample papers. Along with it also give online test for better preparation. Keep yourself focused and work hard. All the best.

      The foremost. Study from NCERT books. They are no less than a boon for the students preparing for any army exam.
      As part 2 of the exam comprises of English subject individually, it requires a special attention.

So, give at least 3 to 4 hours a day to your studies. try to practice from NCERT books of CBSE, since the questions will be based in the syllabus of CBSE. If time is an issue for you, then no need to get in too depth, just clear your basic concepts and practice as much soldier clerk sample papers and previous year papers (link is given at the top of this article) as possible.

    3. Hey karan ! First of all let me appreciate you for your cgpa in class 10th. It is really very good. You are on the right track. Focus on your class 12th exams. Once you will be done with that, try to crack NDA exam. There are other options too like you can appear in an open rally which is conducted by Indian army.

    1. Hey Neeradi, the only way to make changes in your form is via feedback form of official army website. Just visit the official website and go to the feedback section and write them to change your information. Just give them your user ID, and they will change it for you. And as for the height part, the height for different state is different, so you are eligible or not depends on your state.

    1. Hey Ashish, you have great spirit. To become a para commando, you need to first join Indian army through rallies of soldier GD or via entrance exams like NDA and CDS. Then after serving for sometime in army, you can volunteer to become a para commando. But, one need to have excellent service record to be eligible for para commando.
