Common Aptitude Test (CAT) is one among others which is conducted by different Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) for the candidates who wish to pursue carrier in management across the country. It is the national level management entrance test for admission in different management colleges, especially in IIM(s).

CAT 2017 was conducted on 26 Nov 2017 and conducted by IIM Lucknow. CAT 2018 official notification is going to be released by the 1st week of August 2018. The IIMs are established by Indian government under the act of Parliament for the purpose to get best consultancy and research services in business and management globally. CAT 2018 scores are used by top institutes like IIMs, SP Jain Institue of Management And Research (SPJIMR), FMS, MDI, NITIE, etc.

Admit Card for CAT 2018 is going to be made available for the 3rd week of October (Tentative). The registered candidates can download the admit card/hall ticket from the official website of the conducting authority.  CAT 2018 Admit card is a mandatory document to get the entry in the examination hall or institute, if any candidate does not bring admit card along with original ID proof, he/she will not be allowed to enter in the examination hall.
NOTE: A copy of Admit Card must be preserved till the entire admission process in completed.

CAT 2018 Answer Key:

In CAT 2017, this is the first time CAT has issued the Answer key of the question papers and allowed the student to find and alter any discrepancies, if any, in the answer key of CAT 2017. The same can be repeated for CAT 2018 Answer Key, candidates will get the opportunity to challenge the proposed answer key by paying the appropriate amount set by the authorities ( for CAT 2017, it was Rs. 1000/- per question).

CAT 2018 Result:

The CAT 2018 Result will be announced by the 2nd week of January (tentative) and after that the candidates will get able to download their respective CAT 2018 Score Card. Candidates can get the score cards from the official website of the conducting authority.

CAT 2018 Cut-Offs:

The cut-offs of CAT 2018 (and every year) differs institute to institute as every management institute of the country declares its own cut-off marks,  based on the overall performance of all the candidates and number of candidates appeared in the examination.

However, the institutes reserve the right to alter the criteria for candidates to get admission. The institutes’ cut-offs or final admission depends on different factors like candidates’s score in CAT, academic performance, CAT score, GD/PI score and other aspects
