After the JEE Main is conducted successfully, IIT Kanpur is going to organize JEE Advance, which is the bedrock of all CFITs like IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc. It is mainly conducted for 12th class students who wish to pursue an Undergraduate program (UG), integrated post-graduate program, or UG-PG Dual Degree. Engineering, Architecture, Sciences or Pharmaceutics are among the coursed offered by the colleges after clearing the exam. The exam, JEE Advanced is a national level test, which gives the opportunity to every student to clear the exam.

Important Changes in JEE Advance:
- JEE Advanced will be conducted only through Online Mode.
- Only the top 2,24,000 scorers of JEE Main will be eligible for JEE Advanced.
- JEE Advance Fees have risen because of GST.

Performance Criteria:
- In JEE Main, candidates should be among the top 2,24,000 (including all categories) by securing positive marks in Paper – 1
- Candidate must be in the top 20 percentile in his particular 12th board exam
- Every candidate must have appeared in the 12th board exam for the first time in either 2020 or 2021
- The best of two performance will be considered if a candidate appeared in the 12th board of both, 2018 and 2019

Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT):
Candidates who are interested and want to pursue Architecture can give AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) and can take admission in B.Arch courses. The only candidates who have qualified for JEE Advanced will be eligible for AAT. Registration for the exam is done through online mode in the 2nd week of June. The duration of this exam is also 3 hours. No separate rank list will be made for AAT.
JEE Advanced Syllabus:
The syllabus of JEE Advanced will be similar to JEE Main such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The syllabus of AAT will have some extra topics like hand drawing, basic architectural knowledge, geometrical drawings, etc. A brief syllabus is given below.

JEE Advanced Admit Card:
Admit card for JEE Advanced will be made available on the official website through which the registered candidates can download it. For the candidates, the admit card will be available to download from the official website. For every candidate who has registered for JEE Advance, is necessary to download the bring it to the examination center. Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall. The admit card contains the important information of the candidate like, roll number, category, gender, date and time, venue of the examination center. Along with admit, card candidates is supposed to bring an original ID proof.
JEE Advanced Answer Keys ORS:
CBSE will release the answer keys for the respective questions that came in the JEE Advance. Optical Response Sheet (ORS) will be available through online mode to be announced soon, the JEE Advance Answer key will be released online.
JEE Advanced Result:
Once the JEE Advanced paper is conducted along with the AAT result will be declared online, which can only be seen on the official website. Once the result is declared of JEE Advance candidates can know their All India Rank, category wise.
JEE Advanced Rank List:
The candidates who have appeared and successfully qualified for the exam will get the All India Rank on the basis of their score but what if their scores are the same. In that case, if the aggregate marks of two or more candidates are equal then the higher rank will be given to that candidate who secured more marks in Mathematics. If the candidates have equal marks in Mathematics then the higher rank will be decided by the Physics score and if the Physics marks are also equal then Chemistry marks will be considered. If all the marks are equal then an equal rank will be given to candidates.
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA):
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is one of the most important body which organizes the central counseling for the admission into IITs, NITs, ISM, and other Govt. Funded Technical Institutes(GFTIs). If you have qualified for the JEE Advance it doesn’t mean that you will get college directly, you have to take part in counseling to confirm your admission. Counseling will be announced soon.
