After joining as tradesmen yes you can change it later within 3 years of his enrolment provided you have the requisite qualifications and other eligibility criteria for that trade and the Records should certify that there is a vacancy and they have no objection to change of trade.
According to your education qualification, there is a chance that you might not able to change it to the clerk post.

To avail the benifits of relation certificate you need to mention it while filling the form. Take the relation certificate with you even if you have not mentioned it on application, maybe they will allow you to have the benefit.

Hello, after 2 years of service one can apply for change in trade, but you can not completely change the branch, i.e you won’t be able to switch to GD.

There are various trades for a tradesman like : Chef, Dresser, Tailor, Painter, Steward, Artisan (WW), Support Staff (ER) and Washerman; House Keeper, Mess Keeper and Syce (onw who take care of horses).
And tradesman can get promotion upto havildar rank, and in some case one can retire with honorary rank of Naib Subedar. Also, only hospital cooks are eligible to get the ranks of JCO.

A serving tradesman can change his trade to soldier clerk or technical, but not to general duty. You can not change the trade right after training, for that you will have to few years and then apply for change of trade.

Firstly you will need to register yourself online in the official army website. Then you need to keep eye on the latest recruitment for your district, get the admit card, and start preparing for the physical test and written exam. You must start your preparations well before 2 months of the rally date. Make sure all your documents are ready and flawless. Now the main part in rally is running, so make sure you prepare well for it. For written exam you must give some time to study on daily basis, how many hours you should give depends on the trade that you have applied for. Fro tradesman, 2 hours daily will be more than enough for 2 months. Try to read from CBSE class 9 and 10th syllabus.And yes, make sure you are medically fit. All the best!

The minimum age criteria required to join India army is 17 and half years and as you have mentioned that you are just 17 years old so at present you are not eligible to join army. Since you are in 10th class present so I would advice you to focus on your studies and later on you can apply for higher and better post.

In the official website of Indian army you will have to look for the TGS notification.After submitting application online, print your online application form and send it along with other documents as mentioned in the notification. All eligible male engineering graduates can apply for TGC entry, later Indian army decides the cut off percentage and shortlist the candidates out of all applicants. So at the time of applying, there is no percentage criteria. If you get shortlisted you will get call letter for SSB interview. After that there will be medical examination that you will have to go through and once you clear all the rounds you will be selected in the final merit list.

There are various physical and medical fitness criteria that all the candidates have to fulfill in order to clear the medical examination. Like you must have 6/6 distant vision, you must be in good physical and mental state, must have 14 dental points etc. These medical criteria may slightly vary according to the different post. You must check all the eligibility criteria before you apply for any post.

Sorry to inform you but during your training period you cannot change your trade. After a year or so you working as a tradesman can change your trade to clerk.
