  2. Hi Sir. I’m Deep Madahi from Assam. I’m 18 years old and I love Indian Army. I want to join army but someone told me that I cannot apply for Indian army because I have a tattoo in my hand. I want to ask you that what is the criteria for this. Please reply as I’m looking forward to join army. Jai hind.

    1. Hi Deep.
      It is good to know that you are looking forward to join Indian army. Indian army have revised the tattoo policy. Tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. from inside of the elbow to the wrist of both the hands and Reverse side of the palm/back (dorsal) side of both hands. Tattoos on some other body part is prohibited. Although no restriction on size or type of tattoo has been specified but it should not be too large or abusive. So, if you small tattoo in permitted part of body then you can apply for Indian army.

  3. Hello sir. Mere pass NCC C certificate mai C grade hai toh army technical mai kitne percentage ka relaxation milega?

      Hi Ram.
      As, you have mentioned that you have NCC ‘C’ certificate then in the written exam for the pots technical you will get 15 marks as bonus. Other then this no relaxation is given based on NCC certificate.

      If you have the O+ level certificate then 15 marks are given in the written exam for the post of soldier clerk, soldier technical and nursing assistant.

      Hi Varun.
      There are some procedures to join para military.
      1. You must be an Indian citizen.
      2. You must have completed your graduation from any recognized university.
      3. Your age should be between 18-27 years.
      4. To get into para military forces, you have to crack CPO(Central Police Organization) exam that is conducted by SSC every year.
